I spend a nice day today in Am*dam (say: Amsterdam; the star is pronounced "ster" in Dutch, that is how this shortform is created) with Ping and Falko.
Below I will present you some photos, which I took today; enjoy:
This is Falko, he is from Austria and staying here for half a year as an Erasmus-student.
And here we see Xu Ping 徐萍, she is doing her Master in Administrative studies at the University of Leiden.
The guy in the red jacket is a musician standing in front of the Royal Palace.
That is the view from the Royal Palace to the famous Dam.
Another well-known side in Amsterdam, at least for shoppers, is the Bijenkorf, a very large shopping center with 各式各樣的東西。at
That is one great thing you must love about Amsterdam, the parallel-street to the red-light district, is... China-town! A great place to dream yourself into the real China, to smell those great smells you notice at no other place in Amsterdam, see a lot of Asian-people and browse to the supermarkets which sell stuff from far-east!
