Yeah, I know, you have been waiting for this since the first post about our trip to Ireland has been online. Now the time has come and I will show you some pictures of our marvelous trip to the Green Island.I have choosen more or less funny details out of the pictures to put on the post, as soon as you click on the picture you will get a complete impression about what it is like!
On the left you can see the beginning of our voyage: To put five people and all their luggage in a small car is not that easy at all, as you can see!
Our enthousiastic an marvelous tourguide in Limerick: Since he was the only one knowing how to get around in the left-hand traffic Thomas could sometimes create an easy noticeable lead! Just like on this picture where he already mastered to cross the road, while we where still trying to figure our way out
Ok, we admit: We drank, one, maybe two...Yeah alright, everyone of us has done quite a few pint. Torben and Thorsten where therefore happy that our bus made a pit-stop on the way to the lovely Irish capital Dublin. There we went to the oldelst university of Ireland, Trinity College and visited the famous district called Temple Bar. 
Ireland is a great place, the nature is very green, I personally like the fog as well (at least for some time) and the people there are very kind and warm-hearted. As we were not only trying to look at old buildings and the inspirating nature, we choosed to get to know some of the natives better: The language they understood the best was 'beer' and 'football' (or rugby, as you can see on the right)
What does the typical Irish look like? You probably guess red hair, light skin, probably wearing a big beard or something like that. But we did not find too many of those in Ireland. The modern Irish man is during daytime rather dressed in a comfortable sport-dress and the modern Irish woman (or girl as they are mostly quite young in Limerick, with 49% of its population between the age 0 - 29) is barely wearing anything. This might offend the Catholic Church, but not the traveller from a far country.

von dem lottogewinn, den frau schreiber mir freundlicherweise überließ, leistete ich mir am heutigen tage ein vollwertiges mittagsmahl in der hiesigen universitätskantine. zufälligerweise traf ich dort den augenstern aus dem fernen nipponien, der uns auf unserer feucht-fröhlichen reise nach duvlin begleitete und dabei herrn d. aufs äußerste bezirzte. welch trefflich abenteuer!
Oh geneigter Herr Bert! Welch große Freude, dass ihr diese Begegnung mit uns Abgereisten teilt! Sicherlich habt ihr euch der Aufgehenden Sonne aus Nipponien in einem Schatten genähert, welcher eurer Anlitz vor ungewünschten Blicken zu schützen vermocht'. Oder ward ihr, oh holder Edelmann, gar so frei und habt der asiatischen Schönheit euer Geleid angeboten um sie auf Händen durch dies unwirkliche, aber doch so wunderbare Land zu tragen?
Falls sich die Wege von euch und diesem Wesen aus einer anderen Welt nochmals unverhofft kreuzen sollten, so schreit ihr doch bitte mit voller Inbrust ein vielverheißendes KONICHIWA in ihr zartes Mondkuchen-Gesicht!
